Editor’s recommendation: The second issue of IJABE publishes 18 good papers. This issue is featured with two invited articles on non-thermal plasma surface modification and synthesis and assessing the production potential and suitability of hybrid poplar as a bio-fuel crop and a special column of orchard information system including five papers. The three papers from RES on microalgal surface texturing, straw pellet quality and biomass tar are very interesting. Portable device for improving the accuracy of GPS receivers used in agricultural aircraft and integrated sensor system for unmanned ground vehicle system are well worth reading. The three papers from LWE reveal the secret of improving soil hydraulic property, soil fertility and water use efficiency. I wish you will enjoy reading those papers providing with full open access.
